S. Korea’s main opposition party begins filibuster in bid to block ruling party-led election law…

now another New South Korea’s main
opposition Liberty Korea party began a filibuster at the National Assembly
Monday night in an effort to block a ruling party led bill on revising the
nation’s election law earlier in the day the ruling Democratic Party’s three
minor parties and one splinter group reached a final agreement on the details
of the revision which was put on fast-track in late April the revision
calls for the introduction of a mixed-member proportional representation
system ahead of South Korea’s next general elections that will be held on
April 15th 2020

  1. Bravo ROK!, at least your legislative branch is interested in getting things accomplished. Disagreement is normal, you all have lawmakers at least wanting to work for the people they were elected by.
