Donald Trump: I was a Democrat (CNN interview with Don Lemon)

HE SAID A LOT. THAT’S WHERE WE STARTED. JEB BUSH HAS BEEN TAKING DEAD AIM AT DONALD TRUMP BECAUSE DONALD TRUMP HAS BEEN FIRING AT JEB BUSH. THE TWO HAVE BEEN GOING AT I. BUT JEB BUSH TOOK AIM AT HIM IN AN AD WITH A SERIES OF SOUND BITES OF DONALD TRUMP SAYING, HE IS A DEMOCRAT OR HE HAS DEMOCRATIC TENDENCIES OR LIVES IN NEW YORK CITY. WHAT IS HE? A DEMOCRAT OR REPUBLICAN? HERE’S WHAT DONALD TRUMP SAID.>>ONE OTHER THING I’LL SAY. HE MENTIONS THAT I WAS AT ONE POINT A DEMOCRAT. WELL, IN NEW YORK CITY, EVERYBODY WAS A DEMOCRAT PRACTICALLY. IF YOU RUN FOR CITY COUNCIL, IF YOU RUN FOR POLITICAL OFFICE, WHOEVER WINS THE DEMOCRAT PRIMARY IS AUTOMATICALLY, THERE WAS ALMOST NO ELECTION. BECAUSE THE REPUBLICANS HARDLY EXIST IN NEW YORK CITY. THAT’S WHERE I WAS. IF YOU LOOK AT RONALD REAGAN, HE WAS A DEMOCRAT WITH A VERY LIBERAL, AT LEAST A PRETTY LIBERAL BEEN AND HE BECAME PAUBL WITH A SOMEWHAT CONSERVATIVE, I WONDERFUL SAY, HE WAS A CONSERVATIVE REPUBLICAN.>>THAT’S THE FIRST TIME I EVER HEARD YOU CALL YOURSELF A POLITICIAN, REFER TO YOURSELF AS A POLITICIAN. DID YOU EVER CONSIDER — >>I HATE TO DO IT. BUT I GUESS WHEN YOU’RE RUNNING FOR OFFICE, I HATE THE TERM POLITICIAN AS IT RELATES TO MYSELF. I’VE ONLY BEEN A POLITICIAN FOR THREE MONTHS. BUT YOU KNOW, I GUESS THAT’S WHAT I AM.>>WERE YOU A DEMOCRAT AT THAT POINT?>>WERE YOU A DEMOCRAT AT THAT POINT WHEN YOU SAID THAT?>>WELL, AT ONE POINT, I WAS A DEMOCRAT. AND FOR A PERIOD OF TIME. AND OVER THE YEARS, AS RONALD

  1. I was a democrat too voted Obama last two times and was let down. I am voting TRUMP this time tho. Party's mean nothing, two sides of same coin. Trumps views fall in line with my own and millions of others. Politicians who hold office now are puppets nothing more. im right there with trump once i realized how stupid the libtards were, and how radical they are i could not call myself dem anymore. Change was what i thought i was getting with our president. Well it was change alright horrible change. I also cannot stand with a party who supports killing unborn babies. I want us to help the poor but only if they are Americans. We gotta go with Trump he is the only one not bought and paid for by lobbyist.

  2. well looks like the Trump locked up the obama was not born in the usa the KKK and the Natzi vote pretty much all the racists in America demographic locked up. There is no clear background check in terms of policies that he really stands for. At least with hillary u know she is a flip flopper. Sanders has honestly and integrity and Trump i guess u can trust him at his word or take a leap of faith with. I guess a billionaire president is more appealing than a small businessman that pulls himself by the bootstrap. Your top 1% oligarch will do everything to help u and the country by what changing the system that helped in creating him. But thats a double wammy since his background as an actor is both convincing and entertaining. He is good at getting ratings so its not a surprise. However atlas the show must end will he break your heart when he loses or if he wins gets rid of the minimum wage to make us competitive with China, Mexico, and Vietnam. will we earn higher wages or 3rd world country wages and slave like conditions because America looked great then with a high gdp

  3. If JFK were alive today many of his views would be of conservative slant. Years ago at 18 I registered as a democrat until I saw the true difference between party ideals, & have been conservative ever since. Personally, I don't accept the liberal Woodstock Generation mantra. Throw me a free concert, feed me for free, now clean up my mess. Trump 2016!

  4. Why elect someone who had some good ideas at one point in his life but now just acts like a buffoonish blow hard to get his moronic fans to vote for him when you have the REAL FUCKING DEAL in Bernie Sanders? #feelthebern

  5. I used to be a democrat, then became a moderate Republican. This doesn't bother me at all. As a person gets older, it's not uncommon to change political views.

  6. What people supporting Donald Trump choose to avoid is that Trump is no more self-made than Romney was. Trump's arrogance is more in-your-face than Romney's acting and pretense, but both are little different than the con-artist, Obama: without the first experience of the cost of anything. Democrats must have grinned in glee when it appeared Romney would be the republican nominee, and now straining to hide the ear-to-ear that Trump may be the next "conservative" choice.

  7. this guy is nor republican nor politician nor a man neither an american. 100% fake creature who want to fool some fool voters who are more fool than himself

  8. ……..The economy grew by 3.7% annualized last quarter. That's is a perfect growth rate for the US economy.Trump supporters actually think we're in recession. They literally can't tell up from down. And Trump is not about to clue them in.His "five point plan" calls for a 1920's,depression era currency war with China.Oil is under 40.00 a barrel and he wants to interfere with the commodities market. His foreign policy can be summed up as "bomb da' oil fields".Last night he attended a 100.00 a plate fundraiser raising 200K and his super PAC is run by lobbyists.Americans are frustrated with the influence of money on politics so they're turning to a titan capitalist who brags about buying politicians.
You can't make this stuff up.

  9. If you can support Democratic charity causes, and previously voted Democrat, you can certainly negotiate with them as president.

  10. As far as the Almighty Creator concerns this man has to spend his money to support all of those aliens in order to achieve some real estate on the other side. Otherwise the earth is going to swallow him.

  11. CNN Advertisers .. if everyone made just one call per day to these people and tell them you are boycotting their products because of the one sided propaganda that they repeatedly report we could make a difference,,,Career Builder.com 800-638-4212

  12. I didn't know the difference between Liberal and Libertarian when I was younger. I also thought Democrats were the rock star party from watching the Conventions. Then I got into construction. After all that hard work, I realised Republican is the way to go. Sure Dems made factories abide by worker's rights way back when, but taxation is theft. I won't support anyone that continues to collect. Maybe a national sales tax could replace income tax, although its still a tax. There's got to be a common ground. But I will never support Communism. That's what comes out of Socialism. Gross!

  13. Load you rifle up Boys looks like we the people are going to have to fight! Fuck you youtoub Hollywood and all you Democrats sons of bitch’s you want blood come get it! Fuck you!

  14. Never seen a person so full of shit in my life. Trump has to be the dumbest asshole I've ever seen in politics. Good thing he's wealthy because he's the ugliest, stupidest piece of shit the world has encountered.

  15. WOW, he’s acc speaking English and is on CNN and is admitting to being a dem. If this isn’t proof that everything this person does is completely insincere then idk what is.

  16. Trump being a former Democrat would've been perfect for the Left. He obviously switched sides because something was wrong with the Party, he could then identify it and and improve their side. He could also use his previous left leaning bias to spot any bullshit in the Republican Party and fix things there too. He could've been the first real Bipartisan President (that I'm aware of) and this country could really have made a great change. Obviously thats not what happened but he's done a great job as a Republican and will definitely win 2020 thanks to racism from the Democrats who will never change so, yeah, Trump was one of the worst Candidates possible, and yet he's succeeded. Who would've thought.
